Skandalites was formed in the autumn of 2005 by Bödeln and Dr. Painkilla’ who had been talking about playing ska for over twenty years. As they had a great experience in music they had the fortune of recruiting musicians from Baby Snakes, Bush Train, The Joints and Kokowerk. Skandalites is now a 9-piece ska band that plays songs from all the three waves of ska plus some death metal, german electronica and other favorites, put to the ska. All with focus on danceability and having a good time. Skandalites are currently working on original material. So keep your eyes peeled and your ear pricked for the fourth wave of ska rolling out over the world from Stockholm! |
